The certificate of analysis on all of our Propylene Glycol is 99.9%. This grouping of Propylene Glycol is USP grade material and has been repackaged in house in new containers, starting from 16 ounces in size.
The difference between this grouping of Propylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol USP is only final packaging. It is the same grade and material.
To meet USP packaging requirements for 1 and 5 gallon containers, 55 gallon drums are shipped to smaller FDA and USP packaging facilities. The product is repackaged in a clean room, relabeled, and sent back to us. This is the reason why USP labeled containers of Propylene Glycol USP cost more. If you are not using your Propylene Glycol directly in in food or medical applications, this is the product of choice!
